Cialis was introduced to the world as the first pill that had been approved for men with erectile dysfunction, and was available for purchase at pharmacies. However, the drug’s effectiveness wasn’t as strong, and it’s now being marketed to the general public. 1.Nitrates (e.g., nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate): Cialis and nitrates both lower blood pressure. Taking them together can cause a significant and potentially life-threatening drop in blood pressure (hypotension), leading to dizziness, fainting, or even heart attack or stroke. It is contraindicated to use Cialis with nitrates or recreational "poppers" (amyl nitrites).
2.Alpha-blockers (e.g., prazosin, terazosin, tamsulosin): Both Cialis and alpha-blockers relax blood vessels, which can lead to excessive blood pressure reduction when used together. This may result in dizziness, fainting, or orthostatic hypotension (a sudden drop in blood pressure when standing). If needed, your doctor may adjust the dosage or recommend spacing the medications.
3.Other antihypertensive drugs (e.g., atenolol, propranolol, enalapril, lisinopril): Cialis can enhance the blood-pressure-lowering effects of these medications. While this interaction is usually less severe than with nitrates or alpha-blockers, it can still cause dizziness or fainting in sensitive individuals. Close monitoring of blood pressure is recommended.
Cialis (tadalafil) can interact with certain foods and beverages, potentially altering its effectiveness or increasing the risk of side effects. Here are the key drug-food interactions to be aware of:
If you experience any adverse symptoms or you are prescribed any drug, wait at least 24 hours at all stage of daily life to go into action.
If you take Cialis with other drugs used to manage blood pressure (Ex. certain medicines for hypertension), avoid taking Cialis with it alongside them.

Pfizer has launched Cialis, an erectile dysfunction treatment that is available as a generic, but that can be bought over the counter to treat conditions such as impotence. However, it has also been reported that there were some rare cases of priapism (painful erections lasting more than four hours) in some men who took the medication.
Pfizer has also been known to sell some prescription medicines in the UK to treat conditions such as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), which is a medical condition that means that the prostate does not produce enough urine for penetration. It is therefore recommended that men with BPH consult with a doctor before taking the medication.
The drug Cialis is one of the most popular medicines for the treatment of erectile dysfunction. In the UK, around one in six men suffer from the condition and it is estimated that nearly half of men over the age of 50 suffer from it.
There are currently about four million men affected by this condition. It is estimated that approximately one in four men will have their penis surgically destroyed.
